I was on a web site and a thing came on my screen saying virus scanner, the next thing the net work went down, I rang my network provider and they sent someone out within the next few days.

The guy was telling me that a lot of people that are on that particular web site are getting a virus, he said the network protection I had was not the best, I asked him to tell me more, he said that there is a web design company that had a better Network security for my computer and he had been recommending them to a lot of customers. He gave me the address of the web site and told me he would get the web design companies web site up on my computer when he had got rid of the virus.

I asked him how bad the virus had infected my computer he said that this particular virus was easy to fix and that I would be back on the network within a few minutes. I went and made us both a drink while he fixed it, by the time I came back he had fixed my computer and had pulled up the web design companies Web Site for me, I went to order the web design companies network security package but unfortunately there was an error on the site so it gave me a number to ring to complete my order.

The computer guy packed his things away and I thanked him for everything he had done, I asked him if he had a business card as he had been so helpful that when or if I had any further problems i could give him a ring directly, he gave me his card and he left, straight away I phoned the Web Design company as I wanted my protection to start immediately so I wouldn't have any further problems, the cost of the security wasnt all that expensive but it wasnt cheap but at least I had peace of mind that I was now protected online and hopefully nothing would happen like that again in the future.
