Technology Through Our Eyes

I bumped into an old friend of mine who i hadn't seen in years, we chatted for about half an hour or more and I found out that he was married and had his own web design company and that he spent most weekends surfing, I said that's a coincidence as I work for a wifi company and believe it or not my husband and I go down to south wales surfing whenever we get the chance.

We could believe that although we hadn't been in touch for so many years that our lives hadn't differed from each others that much. We swapped telephone numbers and said we would have to arrange a weekend away Surfing with our families i thought it sounded a great idea.

Within a couple of days my friend called me up and said that his Web Design company was looking into spreading out into other areas which may include WIFI, he wondered what i thought about it and if i would like to run the wifi side of the business while he continued to run the web design, i said i would have to think about it as i knew very little about web design although i wouldn't have much to do with that side of the business i wanted to look into it further he said sure that's fine with me.

When i got home i spoke to my husband about it and he said why not invite them over for a meal one night to discuss it, i gave him a call and it was agreed, then things took a sour turn. For some unknown reason the kids decided to use the dining table as a climbing frame and the day before the dinner party the table broke, i was in such a panic i didn't know what to do.

My husband suggested that i went and had a look at an on-line auction site he said recently he had been spending quite a lot of time on the on-line auction sites as he found them excellent value and couldn't believe how many on-line auction sites there were. I went to go on the computer and noticed the wifi sign wasn't lit, that's strange i thought but no fear with in a few minutes i had sorted out the wifi problem and was back online surfing the next for the On-line Auction site my husband had recommended.

Within minutes i had found the ideal table and chairs at a bargain and it also had a buy it now price, i clicked to do so but it said i had to register to the on-line auction site before i could, i quickly did so as i didn't want anyone to beat me to it. The following day we went and picked the dining table and chairs up that night my friend and his wife came round for dinner and we discussed the possibility of him expanding his web design site, it sounded a very good idea and definitely something i was interested in doing, later that night the two men also arranged a weekend away surfing which was going to be great fun. Its funny how meeting someone you hadn't seen in years can make such a turn of events happen in your life, whatever's next!
