I am studying web development in a university. I am also a web programmer through a freelance program website. When I have time, I will usually go to a coffee shop that provides wifi connection to study or do my freelance work. One day, when I was working in the coffee shop, a man spoke to me. “I have been looking at your work for a long time, I am greatly appreciated of your skills”, he said. The world wide web as always was full of insightful information, as well as a few non relevant advertisements. There were offers of free email accounts, popular google searches and everything from braiding navel hair to buying a zebra. It seemed the world wide web had everything....well almost, it had everything except the information Paul needed on web software development. No matter how many times Paul thought he had found a match on google search he just ended up on sites advertising the service rather than giving information relating to it, which was what he wanted.

Well this is how my story goes. These days there are loads of web developers these, in fact there are so many, that new ones are made day-by-day! Such of these web developers are google, yahoo, msn. The major web developers these days has to be google. Like for where ever I search it will be always from google! And I am most certainly sure google will be the top for all the web developers these times of the years! And then it comes to the internet access. We rich countries are really lucky to have internet access. People in the world might not even know of the internet. We must respect it, and use it wisely, other wise one day the internet access will disappear! And also one major disappointment of the internet access is the pop-ups. Lately there as so many pop ups around the web, all making money from their google adsense and other companies. Some pop-up will be in great need some times. But on the other hand pop-up adscan just be nonsense. These advertisers usually put a pop-up on every page of their site to make money, usually on pay to post sites. So just stay safe on the internet and you will do fine! So if you can just try and use google as your main web developer and then I'm sure you will do fine with google, as always, they give the best search results, and nothing can change that! As google is the best! Also try your hardest to get at least a free pop up blocker. But if you can pay, as I'm sure when you pay for it it will come in more use for you. But google chrome does a fantastic pop-up blocker. And so does Mozilla FireFox but I would stick with Google chrome instead of Internet explorer, or Mozilla FireFox etc. At the moment I am using Internet Explorer 7 as I have been hearing how could it is, but its turned out to be such the same as Internet Explorer 6, even worse. But I am sure Google Chrome will do the trick for the best Web developer!

I am a hopeless romantic. I am 31 years old, petite, tan, loner, never had a boyfriend since birth, aloof and a thriving web designer. I usually stay at home, work with my computer and I seldom go out. I just use yahoo messenger and msn messenger to keep in touch with my friends. I rarely go out and meet up with them. I just got my computer back from the repair shop and it was $75.00 for it to get repaired. As cheap as computers are now, I could have put a down payment on a new computer at that price. This story starts off with a young teenage girl named Alessandra who is usually quiet and can be found always reading a paperback novel. One day, Alessandra had to submit a project for her I.T class and it's topic was the Internet and the topic she chose was to submit a website made by herself to her teacher. Having no knowledge of web site design, Alessandra spent most of the week researching online for tutorials about the basics of HTML and tables. She came up with a pretty good site for a beginner and was graded a B+ for her project. Even after her project was done, Alessandra found herself still working on her website, adding a little bit of new content everyday and making necessary tweaks.

Yesterday was the 6th anniversary of my journey in the on-line world. I started my career as a marketing executive after completion of my graduation. I used to sell computer peripherals, accessories and software. It was hard time for me to go around every place and try to convince people to buy these computer related products. Last year I worked for a web design company that provided graphics to online stores. It was the beginning of my huge obsession with buying on-line. There've been times when I haven't had any internet access at home for really long periods of time and I've had to use an internet cafe instead. On hindsight, I wonder how I got through it. I enjoy my own company in the comfort of my own space, but I guess I'm adaptable when I need to be and never truly realise how I'm able to get through a situation 'til months afterwards. One good thing about having to use an internet cafe is that it forces you to use your time well. £1 an hour for internet access might not appear like much, but it can add up. Even if you used the net for an hour a day, we're talking £28-£31 a month which is over double what you'd pay for broadband access from home.

Simon says that Google is like his helpful shadow in the online world. There is not a day goes by when he doesn't use Google to search for something. Other search engines like Yahoo, Alta Vista and MSN seem to pale into the woodwork when compared with Google.Suzie, on the other hand, thinks that Google has an insatiable unhealthy monopoly on a lot of things. They have their hands in too many pies. Using less popular search engines like Alta Vista and Yahoo is her little way of getting back at Google. Not that google will ever feel the difference, but by doing that, she feels she's doing something. Can you imagine if she convinced 100 people a month not to use Google? Now that would be something. She could use a social network or three to spread the word about her 'No-Google' campaign. Mind you, it would have to be a social network that Google doesn't actually own as they seem to be taking over a lot of sites these days - she thinks they own the social network, MyBlogLog, so that's one not to join during her campaign.She might even set up a domain and a website or blog. There's Blogspot, but guess what, Google owns that too. She could always buy her own domain though, then set up a blog on Wordpress. Doesn't cost that much to buy a domain name and hosting for a year. Hmm, might be an idea. Something to look into.Maybe one day, she and a group of people could even demonstrate offline. Quietly, of course. It could be something as quiet but as powerful as wearing a t-shirt with a slogan on it or leaving leaflets on a seat when they get up or even wearing badges.Basically, it would be great if there was a redistribution, a reroute of some of Google's search engine power to other search engines. Suzie thinks that some of the above might be ways to do it. Her campaign might be successful or it might fall flat on its face, but sometimes it's better to do and fail than to do nothing at all. Doing nothing is the ultimate failure.
