Technology Through Our Eyes

I am graduating from technical school and I want to enter a career in a web design company. I want to be able to work from home on my own computer. I need to be able to set my own schedule hours due to the fact that I am a single mother of two and can't afford babysitting fees. It wouldn't make any sense to take my children to a babysitter and then work out of my home. I would just be turning around and paying the babysitter everything that I made from my job. That wouldn't leave any money for me to pay my bills, and to buy food and all the other necessities I need.

Isaw aweb design companyin the classified ads just the other day that was offering a job that you could do at home. So, I sent them an email and an attachment of my resume, and a link to a network that I am participating in that has examples of my work. Hopefully I will be hearing from them soon. Working for a web design company would be great, especially for this particular company because they are well-known for their excellent work benefits. With two children that I am raising by myself, benefits are what I really need. Medical care is really expensive, I need really good coverage for my children and myself.

Figuring that I get this job at this web design company, I would be set with my finances. I would be able to pay my bills, and open a savings account at my bank. I would be able to finally pay off my credit card bills, and all my debts. For a while there, I really thought that I would have to go bankrupt. That was the only option that I had, or at least the only one that I could see happening. The father of my two children just left us high and dry with no money, and no place to stay. I was living with my mother for awhile until I could find a little apartment for me and my two children. I was working a dead end job that wasn't paying enough to feed us and pay the bills. So that is when I went to school and hopefully acquire some skills so I can get this job from the web design company. That would be great if I actually got the job.
