My brother, who graduated just last March, was hired to do some web designing for an IT company here. He told me there were at least 16 web designers, most of them are older than he is, who applied for the job. It was probably luck, or he was just what the company was looking for, that he was picked. He will be starting his first day tomorrow.
My brother is really good at what he does. He was still in high school when hestarted making artistic web designs. He probably got the talent from our mother's side of the family. Mom's two siblings are web designers. Both are are now based in the United States. She has cousins, too, who are webdesigners.
I'm probably the only member of the family who can't even make her own blog. What a pitty, really! The only thing I can do with the internet is do some on-line search. Or visit my favourite chat room when I have the chance to. Other than that, I have no other skills, skills that landed my uncles to high-paying jobs. Yeah, I gathered from my brother that web designing is a lucrative job. It can even get you to places here and abroad. That is very true, as it is why my uncles are now living in the US, after they were hired by IT corporations there. I don't know if I still have a chance. That job is most likely for people who have the skills already, that further study in school just enhances what they already have. Oh well!
Anyway, I'll probably learn some few techniques in web designing, hopefully with the help of some googlingfor some helpful tips in the internet. At least this broadband internet connection that I have at home willserve its purpose.
I also have workmates who are web designers, I may ask one of them one of these days to teach me how to make my own website or at least a blog. My brother already made a blog for me a few months ago. It had fishes in the background, because I love the ocean and all the creatures in it, with some other stuff he calls widgets. Problem is I can no longer open it, I lost the password he sent to my e-mail. Hispoint in doing it was to for me to have my password saved in my e-mail address so I wouldn't have to memorize it. I think I unconsciously deleted it or something.
Anyway, I still have a long way to go before I learn something about web designing. To all web designers out there, you do such remarkable things!
